Lampion Center is a non-profit agency that has been serving the residents of Vanderburgh, Posey and Warrick Counties since 1885, and has been affiliated with the United Way since 1958.

Through the expertise of our professional staff and the dedication of our Board of Directors, the agency provides a variety of programs and services for the community.
Our annual operating budget is approximately $937,000, of which 39% comes from local United Way support. The remainder comes from a combination of sources including program service fees, grants and contracts, and donor gifts.
- Licensed and funded in part by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
- Services are provided for all clients regardless of race, religion, gender, age, ethnicity, handicap, or ability to pay.
- Member agency of the Alliance for Children & Families which represents over 600 family serving agencies nationwide.
- In an effort to provide best practice, that Agency has a continuous quality improvement plan that is available on request for interested parties' review.
Fees for counseling services are based on income and number of dependents for those who live or work in Vanderburgh, Warrick or Posey counties. Fees vary for other programs and services. Please contact us for additional information regarding financial arrangements.
Daytime and evening hours are available for most services. General hours of operation are:
Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
